Volunteer Bicycle Messengers for Disaster Response
The Bike Scouts serves as a platform for social teamwork that has allowed its community to be the only continuously-operating Volunteer Bicycle Messenger service for disaster response in the world with thirteen years of experience in building true local resilience and on-ground disaster response experience in almost all of the major disaster events in the Philippines providing access to information, communications, and essential supplies for people and places isolated by category-5 typhoons, severe floods, landslides, earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, and during the global Covid-19 pandemic.
